Collector Adjudication Asif Abbas will hear 23 seizure cases of worth Rs316.346m

MULTAN: Collector Customs Adjudication Asif Abbas Khan will hear 23 seizure cases of worth Rs316.346 million on 5th October (today).

Sources told Customs Today, that Collector Customs Adjudication Asif Abbas Khan will carry out the hearing of 23 seizure cases of Multan and Faisalabad Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization and Customs Intelligence. Collector Customs Adjudication will hear seven seizure cases of worth Rs37.61 million forwarded by Faisalabad Customs and Intelligence.

These seizure cases include M/s Zafar Fabrics of Rs12.121 million tax evasion. Collector will carry out hearing of case filed against M/s Masood Textile Mills Ltd of worth Rs.7.35 million in charge of consumption of input goods beyond stipulated period. M/s Amil Exports (Pvt).Ltd is facing allegations of non-export of goods manufactured from duty free import amounting to tax avoidance of Rs3.44 million.

Few other seizure cases includes M/s Baig Enterprises of Rs3.50 million, M/s Magna Chemicals of Rs4.10 million, used electric motors and Isuzu truck formed by Anti-Smuggling Organization and one seizure case of Hino truck will also fixed for trial in the court of Collector Customs Adjudication.

Collector Customs Adjudication will also hear seizure case of M/s Suncrop Pesticide, M/s Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills, dried shipments of dates and fruits,smuggled HSD and other cases today. Respondents are issued call notices from Customs Adjudication to attend hearing of seizure cases.
