Collector Adjudication-I stresses on improvement of performance

KARACHI: The performance of the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I has been improved after the Collector-Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I Surriya Butt took charge of the Collectorate.

Sources informed Customs Today that Surriya Butt has asked the officials to work with dedication and improve the government revenues. The sources further said that the Collector Customs Adjudication-I has also held a briefing in connection with the status of the cases which are in litigation in the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I.

The authorities concerned were briefed the Collector Surriya Ahmed Butt about the present status of the cases, adding that the collector asked the authorities concerned to enhance their performance further for getting desirable results.

It is pertinent to mention here that Surriya Ahmed Butt has taken the charge of the Collector Customs Adjudication-I in place of Chaudhry Abdul Basit, as he was gone of ex-Pakistan leave for one-year.

It may also be mentioned here that the Collector Surriya Ahmed Butt was served as Collector Port Muhammad Bin Qasim and then she went for training abroad for one-year or so and after returning, the authorities concerned of Federal Board of Revenue-FBR have taken the charge of the Collector-Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I.
