Collector Adjudication Mubashir Baig hears 11 cases on Wednesday

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig heard 11 cases against suspects involved in smuggling of pile fabrics, kerosene oil, Hino truck, Toyota Land Cruiser.

According to the details, Muhammad Ansar was charged with smuggling of foreign origin pile fabrics worth Rs4943599. Amanullah was allegedly involved in duty and taxes evasion of Rs41967552 for smuggling Indian origin kerosene oil into the country through illegal route.

Meanwhile, Mirza Mubashir Baig also heard case of Muhammad Akram who is involved in evading tax of Rs 5603200 for importing non duty paid Hino prime truck bearing registration no: SBA-139 into the country without paying customs duty. He also heard a case filed against Muhammad Saeed involved in smuggling of Hino truck no: TKB-701 (Sibi).

Moreover, the adjudication collector also heard another case against one accused named Muhammad Zareef involved in tax evasion. Whereas, Muddassar Hussain brought Hino truck no: SGA-021 involving duty taxes Rs 3268000. All these cases were forwarded by Customs Intelligence and Investigation, ASO Faisalabad.
