FAISALABAD: Collector Adjudication Raja Tahir Majeed has issued show cause notice to a truck smuggler Mohammad Rashid who is involved in tax evasion.
Sources informed Customs Today that Customs authorities intercepted a Hino truck and asked the owner of the vehicle to produce legal documents regarding possession of the truck, but the owner failed to provide any relevant documents.
The Customs team seized the vehicle and forwarded the case to Customs adjudication for further proceedings. Now customs adjudication authorities issued show cause notice to owner of the truck and asked him to explain his position on March 25, 2016.
