SIALKOT: Model Customs Collectorate Collector Ahmed Reza Khan has issued orders that every constable will not perform his duty without wearing uniform.
He mentioned in orders that the constable must wear their uniforms as it is rule of the customs department. The uniform also distinguishes the customs officials from officials of other departments.
He also asked that all officers should keep check and balance in this regard, besides directing the constables those are working with them to wear uniform while performing their duties in office and field.
“If any constable found performing duty without wearing uniform, the department will take stern action against him as per law,” he warned.
