Collector Ahmed Reza reshuffles customs staff

SIALKOT: Customs Collector Ahmed Reza Khan of Model Customs Collectorate, Sialkot has reshuffled Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Staff .

As per the details, Superintendent Sardar Manzoor transferred from Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) in ASO and he will perform duty as Superintendent ASO. while he will Incharge of ASO during absence of Assistant Collector  whereas  also look after the matter of tax recovery from defaulter. The Inspectors Amir and Aftab Ahmed will perform their duty in ASO, they have been transferred in ASO from Airport and Dry Port whereas Inspectors Amjad And Arshad Hussain will perform duty at airport and dry Port.

The transferred Superintendent and Inspectors have started their duty in ASO while they are showing good performance to impound non customs paid vehicles while confiscating other smuggle items. However the ASO staff is taking steps to curb smuggling in the Gujranwala division under Kashmir, Afghan and China Transit Trades as well as other smuggling. The ASO staff has vowed that the staff will end smuggling from the division while the staff will must discourage smugglers.

Superintendent Sardar Manzoor told Customs Today that the ASO performance is very well whereas the smugglers has gone on decline while the fruitful results are observing to curb smuggling day by day by.
