Collector Dr Owais Agha issues directives to ensure flawless clearance of goods

KARACHI: The Collector Customs Collectorate Appraisement (West) Dr Owais Agha Jawwad, who is also looking after the affairs of the Customs Appraisement (East) as a collector, has issued directives to all the officials concerned to ensure zero pendency in clearance of goods.

The Customs Collector Appraisement (West) Dr Owais Agha Jawwad has said that the directives have been issued ti ensure flawless clearance of of the imported consignments.

The Customs Collector Appraisement (West) further said that both the Collectorates including Customs Appraisement (East) and Customs Appraisement (West) are facing shortage of sanctioned officials, however, the Collectorates are managing the work load with great competency and capability.

“In order to resolve the issues of the importers and traders, the Customs authorities are taking keen interest to boost up the legal trade and to provide ease to the importers in clearing their consignments through green channel”, Collector added.
