Collector Jamil Nasir inaugurates new conference room at Mughalpura Dry Port

LAHORE: Collector Customs Collectorate Appraisement Jamil Nasir Khan inaugurated newly constructed conference room at Mughalpura Dry Port.

Addressing the participants Collector Jamil Nasir said that Customs Collectorate of Appraisement is taking all possible measures to facilitate businessmen. He said that clearance procedure is now more transparent and easy. He said that practice of speed money is almost ended at Customs Collectorate Appraisement.

Collector Jamil Nasir said that there is no more culture of protocol in Customs Appraisement. He said that there was no place available at Mughalpura Dry Port for holding of any meeting. After construction of conference room this problem is solved. He also thanked the importers for extending financial support for construction of conference room.

Prominent among those who attended the inauguration ceremony includes Additional Collector Saima Aftab, Muneeb Sarwar, Ali AbbasGardezi, Azmat Tahira, Rashid Munir, Deputy Collector Ali Akbar Zaidi, Sobia Kiran, Asad Ali Khan, Nazia Saleem, Asma Bashir, Principal Appraiser Ameer Haider Mehmood, Saeed Nasir Kasuri, Hamayun Mukhtar and others.

Collector Nasir thanked all the participants for attending the ceremony, he hoped that traders of the region will avail the facilities provided by the customs authorities. He assured that Customs Appraisement will take all measures to facilitate the importers of the country.
