KARACHI: Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Port Muhammad Bin Qasim (PMBQ) Mukarram Jah has distributed work among Additional Collectors BS-19 with immediate effect and till further orders.
According to an Office Order No 20/2016(A)Estt(PQ), Additional Collector-I Muhammad Tahir has been tasked to oversee Headquarters, Administration, HRM, Processing & Assessment Group (I to VII) & One Customs, Warehouseing (Bulk & Bonds), Securities & Guarantees, Import Section, Post Release Verification (PRV), Valuation Committee, Training & Taxpayers Facilitation, Cash & Accounts, Registration & Licensing, Sections 22, & 138 of the Customs Act 1969, DTRE, FTA Cell, Revenue Statistics & Analysis, Manifest Clearance Department (MCD) AND Audit (Internal & External).
Moreover, the collector assigned Additional Collector-II Rizwan Salabat to work to supervise Examination (QICT) and One Customs, cases involving Section 79 (1)(b), Off-Dock Terminals, all matters relating to Enforcement & Preventive, Collectorate’s Intelligence Unit (CIU), Auction & auction related matters, Safe Transportation (ST), Transshipment (TP), Inter & Intra Port Movement (IPM), Law & FTO. Adjudication & ADRC, Management Information System (MIS), Projects, all matters relating to Automation, Legacy Afghan Transit, Customs Laboratory, and Refund & Recoveries, the order said.
