Collector Port Qasim Mukarram Jah calls for effective strategy to collect more revenues

KARACHI: The Collector Port Qasim Mukarram Jah has called a high level meeting of the Collectorate at his office on Monday.

During the meeting, the Collector Port Qasim Mukarram Jah reviewed the revenue collection status and asked the officials to improve their performance in connection with achieve the revenue target in all four quarters of the fiscal year 2016-17.

The Collector Port Qasim has also directed the authorities to evolve an effective strategy in connection with ensuring the achievement of revenue target set by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

During the meeting, the Collector Mukarram Jah asked the officials of the Collectorate that a comprehensive strategy coupled with the strong measures against the tax evasion through mis-declaration and under-invoicing.

The collector further asked the authorities concerned to take measures in order to curb the revenue leakages and also materialized the efforts in this regard.

The collector Gwadar further asked the authorities concerned to ulitise all their resources in order to save even a single penny of the national exechquer which was evaded by the tax evaders.
