Collector Tariq Huda to brief media on liquor seizure case today

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate Preventive Collector Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda is going to hold a press conference today at Drug Enforcement Cell, East Wharf regarding liquor smuggling.

According to the details, the collector would apprise the media about the huge seizure recently done by the Drug Enforcement Cell of the collectorate.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Drug Enforcement Cell (DEC) last week impounded two trucks containing around 8,300 bottles of foreign liquor. The officials has conducted raid near Hawksbay Road to foil the liquor smuggling.

During the raid, the team also arrested the truck driver, while investigation in this matter is underway.
