ISLAMABAD: Commissioner Regional Tax Office Farid Ullah Khan has ordered the restoration of sales tax registration of a black listed company M/s Golden Associate, Naval Shopping Centre, Sector E-8.
In his restoration order the Commissioner said M/s Golden Associate’s Sales Tax No 26-00-3590-226-12 and NTN 3590226-4 was suspended on 4-5-2015 and subsequently was Black Listed, in exercise of powers conferred under section 21 (2) of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 read with Rule 12 of the Sales Tax Rules 2006 and clause ”N” of the Sales Tax General Order No 03 0f 2004 as amended STGO 35/2012.
Registered person applied for restoration of sales tax registration number dated 09-09-2016, in the mean time, the registered person intimated penalty of Rs 78,800/-under section 33(1) of the Sales Tax Act, 1990. The amount intimated of Rs. 78,800 was already deposited by the M/S Golden Associate dated 30-09-2016.
The commissioner said keeping in view of above exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 21(2)Sales Tax Act 1990 read with clause “N” of the STGO -03/2004 amended STGO 35/2012 and further amended STGO 34/2012 & Rule 12B o the Sales Tax Rules 2006 ,order the restoration of sales tax registration of M/S Golden Associate near Askari bank ,Sector E-8, with immediate effect.
