Concession on property tax ends today

LAHORE: Special rebate on property tax is going to end on October 31 (today) as Excise and Taxation Punjab has already extended the date twice.

Excise had offered a discount of five percent on submission of property tax until October 31.

However, the department had extended the last date for the payment of property tax with 5 percent concession from September 30 to till October 31, 2015 to facilitate taxpayers in the province.

Excise officials said that recovery of property tax during last two months was satisfactory and department has recovered a high share of the target, which has been assigned for the fiscal year of 2015-16.
