ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is investigating huge corruption scandals without any pressure, Bureau Director General informed Senate Standing Committee on Finance which met under chairmanship of Senator Saleem Mandviwalla at the Parliament Lodges.
The NAB DG maintained that without substantial proof they would not produce any case before court of law.
Senator Saeed Ghani alleged that NAB did not want to make any progress in this ongoing inquiry which was re-launched on the instruction of Supreme Court of Pakistan, saying, “I will prove that the NAB does not want to do anything.”
The NAB DG said that despite their efforts they were so far unable to get original record from Ministry of Finance and SBP.
