LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has extended the judicial remand of a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) air hostess for 14 days. She is allegedly involved in gold smuggling.
Earlier, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) claimed on August 23 to have arrested a senior air hostess from Lahore airport when she was attempting to smuggle gold to the United States.
Later, she was handed over to the customs for further prosecution. The suspect reportedly confessed to her crime that she was trying to smuggle gold from Lahore to New York via PIA flight PK-721. The woman was later handed over to the customs officials for further investigation and they got judicial remand of the accused.
