ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench has accepted the bail plea of suspect who had already served two years and 9 months jail, and ordered his release.
According to details, Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench has heard the case of smuggler Muhammad Altaf who was arrested by Anti-Narcotics Forces while 1500 gram marphiune was recovered from him and registered a case of smuggling against him.
Earlier Court has sentenced the accused 2 years and 9 months of jailed but the accused file a bail application through advocate Sir Shah Husain Tarmizi in Rawalpindi bench which was accepted by Justice Qazi Amin.
