KARACHI: Sindh High Court has granted protective bail to an accused in mobile smuggling case.
Justice Saleem Jessar granted the accused protective bail for ten days against a solvent surety of Rs50,000.
The court earlier heard Miss Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for accused Babar Azad booked by Pakistan Customs, Jinnah Airport Terminal after one Khawar Ansari told the Customs officials that mobile he was carrying from Dubai to Karachi were owned by Babar. The mobiles confiscated include I-Phones and other costly mobile sets worth Rs1.1 million.
