ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Customs’ actions against imported vehicles has been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC), it is learnt here.
The applicants have taken the stance that they imported vehicles from other countries legally and got registration from Excise and Taxation and route permit from the Transport Department.
Despite having all these legal documents, the Pakistan Customs, following the directions of the Federal Board of Revenue, is taking actions against imported vehicles which the applicants termed is illegal.
They appealed the court to bar the customs from taking such measures against imported vehicles.
