Customs Adjudication decides 184 cases in six months of FY 2014-15

MULTAN: The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication has decided 184 cases worth Rs 180.596 million in the first six months of the fiscal year 2014-15.

The collectorate decided five cases worth Rs 50.200 million up to December 2014.

The Additional Customs Adjudication settled 21 cases worth Rs 40.703 million in the first six months of the fiscal year 2014-15.

The deputy collector resolved 158 cases worth Rs 89.693 million in the first two quarters of the fiscal year 2014-15.

The deputy collector also decided 31 cases worth Rs 15.582 million in December. As many as 30 seizure cases were decided in the favour of the Customs Department in December. Only one seizure case was decided in the favour of taxpayer until December.

During December 23 fresh cases were added and the revenue involved was Rs 25210 million.
