Collector Customs Adjudication issues show cause notice in smuggling case

ISLAMABAD: Collector, Directorate of Customs (Adjudication), Muhammad Ali Raza has issued a show cause notice to Shahbaz Amin in seizure case of smuggled goods of electronics and cloth.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Adjudication directed accused Shahbaz Amin son of Muhammad Amin, a resident of Officers Colony Rawalpindi, to attend the hearing on 30.9 2015 along with documentary evidence.

Customs Adjudication has also directed that if the accused fails to provide evidence then the case will be decided on the basis of evidence available on demand.

Customs Adjudication also directed Deputy Director Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Customs Peshawar that the concerned seizer officer or other officer with the case proceedings may be deputed to attend the hearing on the schedule date along with relevant record.
