LAHORE: Customs Air Freight Unit (AFU) deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport has foiled an attempt to smuggle millions of rupees drugs to Kuala Lampur Malaysia.
Sources told Customs Today that the customs export section on information examine a consignment of M/s Rabab Enterprises, Faisalabad.
The consignment was destined to Malaysia and when the customs officials thoroughly checked the consignment it was discovered that 250000 volume of 10 tablets and 6500 Beupron injections tactfully hidden in the consignment. The customs authorities after registering a FIR started further investigations in to the matter. The sources said that the total value of the drugs may exceed Rs0.3 million.
