According to details, Customs Appellate Tribunal’s division bench, comprising Chairman Hussain and Member Technical, Ziauddin Wazir was scheduled to hear around 12 cases on the day.

These cases were filed by M/s Waseem Autos, M/s Nisar Traders, M/s Parts & Parts, M/s Chief Autos, M/s Aman Elahi, M/s Kohinoor Traders, M/s Saleem Silk Centre, M/s Five Star Trading, M/s Pakistan Royal Group and M/s Nayatel Private Limited. The appellants had filed cases against Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigations, Islamabad.

It is pertinent to mention that the bench had postponed hearing of these cases for the second time. For the first, these cases were listed to be heard during first week of November and the bench could not hold hearing of said cases as the chairman could not reach Islamabad headquarters due to blockades of roads leading to Islamabad city following PTI call of Islamabad-lockdown.

It was second time on Monday when the tribunal had to postpone the hearing of majority cases supposed to be heard by the bench.
