Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourns hearing of 12 cases till next dates

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal division bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 12 cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.

The Customs Tribunal heard 10 cases, including Sitara Textile versus customs Lahore and Customs Multan versus Abdul Rauf both cases are adjourned till 20 December. Ajmair Traders versus customs Lahore and Asim Momin Sons versus Post Clearance Audit Lahore adjourns for December; Maxi Inch versus Valuation Lahore adjourns for December 5.

On Monday, Customs Appellate Tribunal heard cases, including Muhammad Zaman versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Muhammad Latif versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad and Muhammad Sadiq, all three cases adjourns for November 10.

Furthermore, Tribunal heard case of directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Mian Ahsan, Six Star Sports versus customs Sambrial, directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Ghulam Ali and Mian Ahsan versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

All 12 cases adjourned for the next dates not any case decided yesterday. In all cases the counsels for appellants appeared before the court and presented arguments. After hearing the arguments Tribunal members adjourns the hearing of cases for the next dates.
