Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench reserves verdict on cases filed against Customs authorities

ISLAMABAD: A special division bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad has reserved judgments on the cases filed against Customs authorities.

The bench, comprising Tribunal Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti and Member Technical Nazim Saleem, heard the cases and reserved their decisions after the completion of arguments from both sides.

Among these cases, one was filed by M/S Prime Polytax against Collector Customs, Peshawar. Other case was filed by M/S China Water against Collector Customs Sost. Both petitioner challenged decision given by the respective customs offices.

Advocate Sajid Ijaz Hotiana contested the case from M/S Prime Polytax while advocate Farhat Nawaz Lodhi represented M/S China Water case.
