Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 11 cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 11 cases on Tuesday and adjourned all the cases to different dates.

According to the details, division bench-II comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq Member Technical heard eight cases including Elite Enterprises versus Customs Faisalabad, H Ali Constructions versus customs Lahore, M/s Marine World versus customs Lahore, M/s Meena Barkly versus customs Lahore.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of H Ali Constructions versus Customs Lahore, Scale Tech versus Customs Lahore, Khalid Mehmood versus Customs Faisalabad and Jamshed Ali versus Customs Lahore.

The single bench-I comprising Imran Tariq member Techinical heard three cases of Admiral sanitary versus customs Sambrial, Shozaib Shafique versus customs Lahore and Farhat Abbas Shah versus customs Lahore.

In the cases which were adjourned the members of Customs Appellate Tribunal ordered the appellant to appear on next dates of hearing and conclude their arguments before tribunal.

On Wednesday, Customs Appellate Tribunal was fixing any case for the day and not hears the case yesterday. The office work performed regularly.

Customs Appellate Tribunal heard the routine cases fixed for hearing today on Thursday. The counsel for appellant and respondents will appear before the tribunal and present their arguments before the tribunal and tribunal will decide the case after the completion of hearing.
