ISLAMABAD: The Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad has decided 17 cases in 2015.
According to official records of Customs Appellate Tribunal, only eight cases were decided by the Bench-I, headed by the tribunal Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti. The chairman had been accompanied by different Members Technical during the year for the composition of Division Bench in order to hear cases. Many cases were heard alone by the chairman as single bench.
Whereas, tribunal’s Bench-II, comprised of Member Judicial M Maqsood ul Hassan and Member Technical M Nasir Khan had decided only nine cases, thereby making the overall figure 17 during their whole year proceedings in Islamabad.
