Customs Appellate Tribunal postpones hearing of 19 cases

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 19 cases on Tuesday and adjourned all for different dates without those cases whose verdicts were reserved.

The division bench-II, comprising Omer Arshad Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard seven cases including Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Imran Hardware, Cotton Craft versus Customs Lahore, Raja Intesar Mehboob versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Muhammad Sadiq versus Customs Lahore, Rai Muhammad Umer versus Customs Lahore, Khadim Hussain Chaindio versus Customs Anti Smuggling Multan and Awais and Shoaib versus Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore.

Special Division bench-I comprising Justice ® Malik Manzoor Hussain, Chairman and Imran Tariq member technical heard 11 cases including Pak Steel versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujarat, Abdul Azeem versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, SAF PVC versus Customs Lahore, Tahir Sharief versus Anti Smuggling Organization Lahore, Abdul Sattar versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat.

On Tuesday, same bench heard cases of Imran Sattar versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Supreme Tube versus Customs Lahore, Eastran Frighter versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Pak Telecom versus Customs Lahore and Cascade Enterprises versus Customs Lahore.

The single bench-I, comprising Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard one case of Muhammad Hassan versus Customs Faisalabad.
