Customs Appellate Tribunal reserve verdicts in eight cases

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal (CAT) bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 10 cases on Monday and reserved verdict in eight and adjourned two cases of them until the next hearing.

The tribunal heard 10 cases, which includes Customs Faisalabad versus Safar Khan, M.S Amina Khan versus customs Lahore.

Customs Tribunal reserve verdicts in eight case including D.K Industries versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Abdul Rehman versus customs Sambrial, Shahnaz Parveen versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

On Monday, Customs Appellate Tribunal heard cases, including Maxi Inch versus valuation Lahore, Sakhwat Ali versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Zulifqar Ahmed versus customs Faisalabad.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard the cases of Ali Shan versus customs Multan and Kashif Malik versus customs Multan.

In all cases, the counsels for the appellants appeared before the court and presented arguments. After hearing the arguments from the appellant and recipient side, the tribunal member adjourns the hearing of two cases only for the next dates.

Eight cases were fixed for final hearing on the due dates the representatives of Appellant and respondents appeared and put their final argument before the honorable members of the tribunal. After hearing the arguments from both tribunal has reserved verdicts and the decision will be announce very soon.
