Single Bench of Customs Appellate Tribunal postpones hearing of 15 cases until Jan 12

ISLAMABAD: A Single Bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal comprising its Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti on Monday adjourned the hearings of around 15 cases until January 12, 2016.

The bench resumed the hearing of as many as 20 cases and adjourned the hearings till post-winter vacation.

The cases whose hearings were adjourned included petitions by United Wings Trading Corporation, Crystal Traders, Asian Trading, Muhammad Ishaq, Muhammad Younas, Aslam Trading, Kohinoor Chemicals and Sana Enterprises and others against customs collector, Islamabad and Peshawar. Out of the 15 cases, few were filed by customs authorities against private firms or individuals as well.
