Customs Appellate Tribunal to announce verdict on four cases on December 23

ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal is likely to announce verdict on four cases on December 23. The judgement was reserved during the hearing on Saturday.

According to details, a single bench of the tribunal had reserved decision of cases filed by Makkay Manufacturers’, Habibullah and Premier Formica Industries Limited against the Customs Department.

Tribunal’s division bench had also reserved decision of cases filed by TCS Private Limited, Saquib Abbas, Smart Zone Private Limited, Shaheen Pipe Industries, Collector Customs, Peshawar and  Collector Customs, Islamabad, and citizens Ghanzfar Gul, Najmuddin, Asmatullah, Muhammad Hanif and Sirjul Mulk.

Customs Appellate Tribunal officials said that the chairman had concluded decision on the four cases out of cases whose decision were reserved. He was likely to give verdict on those cases during his visit starting from December 7, they underscored.
