ISLAMABAD: A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned the hearing of customs reference until May 27 here on Tuesday.
A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal comprising Member Technical Muhammad Nasir Khan heard the case filed by Indus Laboratories (Private) Limited.
The appellant had challenged collectorate of customs, Islamabad’s decision before the tribunal. The decision was given by the collector (appeals) in which the adjudication had maintained imposition of penalty for paying short duty of over Rs 0.6 million.
The tribunal heard brief arguments in the court and adjourned hearing. The case was registered with tribunal in January 2016 and since then the bench had held 11 hearings of the case.
