Customs Appraisement issues notice to Inam Traders to recover Rs 1.6m

LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement has issued recovery notice to M/s Inam Traders under Sub-Section 1 of Section 202 of the Pakistan Customs Act, 1969.

According to the sources, a Customs Appraisement assistant collector issued a notice to Inam Traders to recovers arrears amounting to Rs 1.6 million

The said amount is recoverable from the company since long time but the company did not pay it to the customs. The sources said that as Inam Traders remained fail to submit dues in any manners so the customs served a notice on it giving 15 days to clear the arrears.

According to the notice, the customs can attach and sale the immovable properties of the company and even can sale the goods related to the company in case of failure in submission of dues under Pakistan Customs Act.

The Customs Appraisement issued this notice at address of the company, which is 9 Landa Bazar, and at home address of Muhammad Inam that is 115 P Block Model Town, Lahore.
