Customs Appraisement to hold auction today

LAHORE: The Collectorate of Customs Appraisement has announced auction of seized goods and non-duty paid vehicles on October 22 (today).

The impounded cars, spare parts, silk cloths, cotton cloths, tyres and other goods will be presented for auction on ‘as is where is basis’. Interested parties and persons were allowed to examine and check the goods presented for auction two days before the date of auction.

Customs auctioneer has issued directions that any person who want to participate in auction of vehicles and other goods should bring his Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) with him on the day of auction. The National Tax Number (NTN) is also mandatory to participate in the auction.

Customs Appraisement sources told Customs Today that impounded cars, generators, tyres, cloths and other items will be presented for auction.

Number of cars including imported heavy vehicles of Japan will also be presented for auction. Sources said that Customs Appraisement authorities are expecting a handsome revenue through this auction.
