Customs Appraisement West generates Rs42.56m as taxes & duties in September

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West has collected Rs42.56million of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty during the month of September.

Sources told Customs Today that the Customs Appraisement West generated Rs14.55million as customs duty, Rs11.56million of sales tax, Rs7.98million as income tax and Rs8.47million of federal excise duty during September 2017.

It is necessary to mention here that, during the last 18 days of September, Customs Collectorate, Appraisement West, received Rs22.47million as customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty.

The Customs Appraisement West has already expedited its efforts to recover all the outstanding dues from tax defaulters and they are using all available resources for this purpose.
