Customs ASO seizes 3,334 non-duty paid watches

LAHORE: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) on Friday seized 3,334 watches of assorted types from Lasani Itihad Goods near Railways Station.

Sources told Customs Today that the watches worth millions of rupees were concealed in shoes boxes. It was also reported that the watches were transported from Karachi by train by Stylo Shoes makers.

The sources said that the watches were seized on the instruction of Customs Preventive Collector Zulfiqar Younis.

The customs authorities have registered a case and initiated investigations, the sourced added.
