Customs Central Region collects Rs 1,631m customs duty in 15 days of November

LAHORE: The Customs Central Region has collected Rs 1,631 million under the head of customs duty during the first 15 days of November.

As per details, the Customs Appraisement collected Rs 778 million during the first 15 days of the financial year 2016-17. The  Customs Preventive collected Rs 281 million under the head of customs duty during the period under review. The Collectorate of Multan collected Rs 373 million as customs duty during the period under review.

In the same way, the Collectorate of Customs Faisalabad collected Rs 189 million as customs duty during the first fifteen days of financial year 2016-17.

Overall the Central Region collected total customs duty from all the four collectorates worth Rs1631 million duty during the first fifteen day of financial year 20161-17.

The Central Region has been assigned Rs 3675 million customs duty collection target for all the collectorate under Central Region while target given to the region last financial year for the month of November was Rs 1837 million.
