The Customs Intelligence and Investigation officials had seized more than 120 drums of foots oil around 20 days ago from a truck in a special operation on a tip-off. The samples had been sent to laboratory for chemical examination.

Residue wax, formally known as foots oil, is derived from semi- refined paraffin wax and is used in tyre and shoe industry.

The importer said the laboratory report said that the foots oil was not imported from Iran.
