Customs Court adjourns hearing of 17 customs related cases

KARACHI: The Customs Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of 17 cases related to customs matters.

During the hearing of most of the cases, the counsels for the accused requested the court to postpone the hearing of their respective cases for preparation of arguments on which the court adjourned the hearings for different dates.

According to the cause list, three out of 17 cases were fixed for formal hearing of accused namely Allah Rakha and others, Muhammad Abdullah and others and Muhammad Tayyab and others. 11 out of overall 17, cases were fixed for prosecution evidences against accused Parman, D. Sawlani and others, Tikam Das Khatri and others, Yaqoob Hussain, Akhtar Ali and others and Muhammad Shoaib and others.

The other remaining three cases were fixed for confirmation of bails of accused namely Haji Abdul Raziq, Shahzad Gul and others and Maroo and others.
