ISLAMABAD: A Customs Court postponed the hearing of Ayyan Ali’s case until next month. The Customs Court was scheduled to record statements of witnesses but during proceedings of the case the court was informed that the original file of the case is still in the Lahore High Court. Therefore, the court adjourned the hearing of the case until next month.

On the other hand, the proceedings of the contempt case filed by model Ayyan Ali against customs officials could not be taken up. It is necessary to mention here that lawyers of Ayyan Ali are trying to make this case complicated and they are using different legal channels to delay the case.
