Customs court approves judicial remand in Rs209m tax evasion case

LAHORE: The special federal court of customs taxation and anti-smuggling has approved the judicial remand of the accused involved in huge tax evasion case of Rs209 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Tashreef Javed son of Khadim Hussain, Suhail Ahmad son of Khadim Hussain, Amir Javed, son of Khadim Hussain, Directors M/s Hussain cane private limited were arrested by the customs appraisement Lahore in tax evasion. Other accuses Ikram ul Haq son of Muhammad Sharif Bhatii, Ihtisham ul Haq son of Muhammad Sharif Bhatti, Muhammad Saeed son of Muhammad Alim Malik owners of M/s Imran International service customs clearing agency were also booked by the authorities in same case.

After completion of physical remand customs team presented them before the court of Chaudry Ameer Muhhammad Khan for judicial remand that the court has approved for 14 days.
