LAHORE: Special Judge of Customs Court Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad Khan has extended the judicial remand of a suspect allegedly involved in tyres smuggling.
According to the details, Ali was arrested by the Customs intelligence team from Bund Road area of Lahore for alleged smuggling of tyres of different vehicles worth millions of rupees.
Some of his accomplices were on judicial remand, while some have got their post-arrest bails from the court.
The accused Ali was in the custody of Customs Investigation and Prosecution team on three days physical remand.
Customs investigation team after initial investigation presented him before the Customs Court where he was sent on judicial remand that has been extended again.
