LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has approved judicial remand of a suspect involved in a gold smuggling case. Chaudhary Ameer Muhammad Khan, Special Judge of Customs and Taxation Court, sent Muhammad Rizwan, the alleged smuggler, to jail on judicial remand for 14 days.
Muhammad Rizwan was on judicial remand for 14 days and court extended his judicial remand many times.
Earlier, the Customs Preventive authorities had confiscated seven kilograms of gold from his possession at Allama Iqbal International airport. Muhammad Rizwan son of Hadayatullah, is a resident of Kot Khawaja Saeed.
