LAHORE: Customs Court Special Judge Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad Khan has extended judicial remand of a suspect allegedly involved in tyres smuggling case.
According to the details, Hazrat Ali was arrested by the Customs intelligence team from Bund Road area of Lahore in an alleged tyres smuggling case.
Earlier, his accomplices were also on judicial remand and some of them have got their post-arrest bails from the court.
Earlier, he was in custody of Customs Investigation and Prosecution team on three days physical remand. Later, the customs investigation team after initial investigation presented him before the court where he was sent on judicial remand for 14 days.
Now once again special court has extended his judicial remand of 14 days and sent him to jail.
