LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 11 different cases, which were scheduled for hearing on Thursday.
The customs court extended pre-arrest bail pleas of Farooq Ali and Abdul Razzaq in different cases.
On the other hand, the court recorded statements of the parties in cases against Naseer Khan, involved in a smuggling and is currently on bail. The court also extended the judicial remand of an accused Mian Javed in a sales tax evasion case.
The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for hearing in which the court ordered prosecution teams to complete investigation challans as soon as possible.
The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day.
