LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 14 different cases, which were scheduled for hearing on Saturday.
The Customs Court extended dates for hearing of pre-arrest bail pleas filed by Farooq Ali and Abdul Razzaq in different cases.
On the other hand, the court recorded statements of the parties in a smuggling case against Naseer Khan, who is currently released on bail. Meanwhile, the court also extends judicial remand of an accused of sales tax evasion.
The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for hearing in which the court ordered prosecution teams to complete investigation challans as soon as possible.
The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day.
