LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 16 important cases on Friday and adjourns most of the cases until the next hearing.
On Friday, a total of 16 cases of different types were scheduled for hearing, including pre-arrest bail pleas of accused persons. The court adjourned bail pleas of Shahzad Ahmad, and Shahbaz until next hearing of the cases.
A case of Tariq Kazmi in mobile smuggling was also scheduled for hearing in which court recorded statements of the parties and adjourned it for next week. The court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on four different cases on the day. The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day.
