LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 19 different cases on Tuesday, including pre-arrest bail pleas, besides recording statements of the witnesses.
The Customs Court adjourned the pre-arrest bail pleas of Imran Shah and Abdul razaq in tax evasion and smuggling cases. The court also adjourned the post-arrest bail plea of Hafiz Muhammad Shabir, allegedly involved in smuggling. A case of smuggling against Muhammad Salman was also scheduled for the day.
In a case against Muhammad Rafique who was not attending the court hearings since his bail despite issuing many notices, the court has decided to take action his guarantor.
The cases scheduled for hearing on Tuesday included tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics.
