Customs Court hears 21 cases on Monday; issues notice to guarantor

LAHORE: The Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling issued a final notice to a guarantor of accused in a case, besides hearing 21 cases on Monday.

As per the details, the Customs Court in a case against Muhammad Saleem issued a notice to his guarantor Ghulam Abbas, a resident of Data Nagar, Badami Bagh, Lahore. The court has directed the guarantor to present the accused before the court within 10 days to avoid legal action.

On Monday, the Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 21 cases, including those related to tax evasion, smuggling and narcotics, which were scheduled for the day, and issued necessary instructions in this regard.

The cases of Sialkot, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Lahore were heard on Monday in the court.
