LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 22 important cases on Tuesday and issued necessary orders and directions in number of cases.
On Tuesday, 14 cases of different types were scheduled for hearing, including 5 pre-arrest bail pleas of accused persons including Safdar Iqbal, Muhammad Aslam and Ashir. After hearing arguments of different parties issued orders on bail pleas and disposes of a number of pleas while some adjourned for new dates.
Customs Court also adjourned many cases of smuggling. The total cases of such kind were 5 which were scheduled for today.
The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were also scheduled for the day.
The court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on four different cases on the day.
