Customs Court issues arrests warrants of Sheikh Steel Mills directors

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling has issued arrest warrants for the directors of Sheikh Steel Mills Daroghawala Lahore.

Sources told Customs Today that the owners and directors of Sheikh Steel Mills were involved in tax evasion of millions of rupees since the last five years. It was revealed in intelligence information that Sheikh Steel Mills earns more but declared their income too low as compared to the actual sales statement.  A case was registered in RTO Intelligence and Prosecution Lahore against two directors of Sheikh Steel Mills

On Wednesday Chaudary Ameer Muhammad Special Judge of the Customs Court issued arrests warrants for Shaikh Shahid Mukhtar and his brother. The court also ordered the officials to arrest both accused as soon as possible and present them before the court too. Sheikh Steel Mills has evaded Rs 10 million taxes.

The RTO-I has registered a case against Sheikh Steel Mills under Pakistan Customs Act 1969 and further investigation are under process.
